BMK can quickly
process PDF files containing a Table of Contents
(TOC) interactively or automatically. For improperly
formatted TOCs, bookmarks can be created using
BMK's TOC Zone mode.
Small files, which do not contain a TOC, can
be conveniently bookmarked with the Point-n-Click
mode. Large files without a TOC can be bookmarked
using the Font and Style option.
Files with little formatting or heading structures
can also be bookmarked using BMK's Bookmark-by-Keywords
option.
Scanned PDF files can also be bookmarked easily
with BMK's import bookmarks function. BMK can
also take Excel data to automatically create
bookmarks for multiple PDF files.

Bookmark
by Keywords Mode |

For files with little formatting
or heading structures, BMK's Keywords mode auto
bookmarks PDF files based on a user-defined keywords
list. Using the list, Keywords mode searches the
PDF file and creates the bookmark tree for all
matching occurrences. The Keywords mode also supports
user-specified hierarchy levels to create the
corresponding multi-level bookmark tree. |

In Auto processing mode, BMK runs
as an active service and processes multiple files
from user-specified watch folders. The user simply
places files in the designated folders and BMK
automatically creates bookmarks by detecting Table
of Contents or by processing Font-Style templates. |

BMK's Graphical Bookmark Editor
allows one to easily filter, add, delete, sort,
edit bookmarks, set page destinations, and adjust
the bookmark hierarchy with speed and accuracy.
The bookmark tree can be graphically previewed
and refined using indent, outdent and multiple
bookmark move operations. An extensive undo
capability helps revert any unwanted processing
steps. A robust find/replace function is also
available to eliminate or replace unwanted characters
in the bookmark tree.
Additionally, bookmarks can also be printed
in different styles for web publishing or reference
purposes.
